About the artists and label
Anyasa
Anyasa is one of the defining voices in India's new electronic movement โ an artist who has consistently bridged the emotional depth of Indian classical and folk traditions with the scale and energy of global house music. Emerging from Goa, his sound is rooted in melody, atmosphere, and storytelling, often weaving Indian instrumentation and tonalities into records that feel both intimate and expansive.
His breakout releases on Anjunadeep positioned him as a standout in the melodic house space, earning support from artists like Ben Bรถhmer and Lane 8, while introducing a global audience to a distinctly Indian sonic identity. But beyond co-signs, Anyasa's music resonates because it carries a sense of place โ his records feel like lived experiences, not just club tools.
As part of the wider Indo Warehouse ecosystem, Anyasa represents a new kind of artist โ one who isn't just exporting sound, but reshaping how Indian electronic music is experienced globally.
Lost Stories
Lost Stories have spent the last decade defining what it means for Indian electronic artists to operate on a global stage. The Mumbai-based duo โ comprised of Rishab Joshi and Prayag Mehta โ have built one of the most recognizable electronic acts to emerge from India, balancing crossover appeal with deep roots in the culture.
Their career spans official remixes for Maroon 5 and OneRepublic, releases on international labels, and performances across major festivals worldwide. At the same time, they've remained deeply connected to the Indian music landscape, often incorporating regional influences and collaborating with local vocalists to create records that feel both global and grounded.
In recent years, Lost Stories have leaned further into storytelling โ moving beyond festival anthems to craft music that reflects the evolving identity of Indian electronic culture. Their work now sits at the intersection of accessibility and authenticity, where melody, vocal emotion, and club sensibility converge.
Within the Indo Warehouse orbit, they represent a crucial bridge: artists who helped open the global door, now pushing the next chapter forward with intention.
Indo Warehouse
Indo Warehouse is a New York-born record label, artist platform, and cultural movement redefining how South Asian music is experienced on global dance floors. Founded by Kahani and Kunal Merchant, the label emerged from the underground with a singular vision: to create a home for electronic music rooted in South Asian identity without reducing it to nostalgia or fusion.
What began as intimate community-driven events in downtown Manhattan quickly evolved into a worldwide phenomenon, with Indo Warehouse building a dedicated global following through sold-out shows, immersive live experiences, and a distinct sonic language now widely recognized as "Indo House." Blending house, techno, melodic percussion, and South Asian musical traditions, the label has become a launchpad for a new generation of diaspora artists pushing electronic music into unexplored territory.
Beyond the dance floor, Indo Warehouse operates as a world-building platform โ connecting music, visual storytelling, fashion, and culture into a singular experience. Their rise has included performances at major global stages including Coachella, while simultaneously helping spotlight emerging artists from across India and the South Asian diaspora.
At its core, Indo Warehouse is less interested in trends than legacy: building a timeless cultural identity for South Asian electronic music on the world stage.
